Join Us for a City Bus Driver Information Session
Saturday, March 28
8:00–10:00 AM (beginning promptly at 8:00 AM)
at Advance Transit Operations Center
120 Billings Farm Road, White River Junction, VT
This free, welcoming event is a chance to learn more about Advance Transit (AT) and the crucial role you could play in keeping our community moving. Whether you're actively job hunting or just exploring possibilities, this session is designed to give you a clear, honest look at what it’s like to work with us.
What You’ll Learn
Overview of AT
Get to know our mission and the impact we make every day. As a nonprofit, fare-free transit agency, our work is rooted in equity, access, and community connection. You’ll learn how drivers are at the heart of that mission.
Benefits of Working with AT
We’ll walk through the perks of joining our team — from competitive pay to comprehensive benefits — and the stability that comes with working for a mission-driven organization. We're also offering $2,500 signing bonus for CDL drivers with passenger endorsement.
Training Program for Non-CDL Drivers
Don’t have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)? No problem. We offer a training program to help you get there. If you bring the commitment, we’ll provide the support and instruction to help you succeed.
Driver Insights
Talk directly with current AT drivers and staff. Hear firsthand what the job is really like, ask questions, and even take a ride on one of our buses to experience the role from a whole new perspective.
On-Site Application Submission
Feeling inspired? You’ll have the opportunity to submit your application right then and there and take the first step toward a rewarding new chapter.
We’ll have coffee and a light breakfast ready for you.
At Advance Transit, driving a bus is about more than transportation. It’s about showing up for your neighbors, offering a steady presence in someone’s day, and being part of a team that genuinely cares about the communities we serve.
