Ride the Bus to the Norwich Farmers Market This Season

All Aboard for Fresh Finds

It's that time of year again! The return of farmers market season in the Upper Valley! And it all begins again on May 2 with the opening of the Norwich Farmers Market.

Running through October, this vibrant Saturday tradition brings together local farmers, food producers, artisans, and neighbors for a weekly celebration of all things fresh, handmade, and community-driven. From just-picked vegetables and pasture-raised meats to baked goods, flowers, and handcrafted items, the market is a feast for the senses—and a wonderful way to support local businesses.

Getting there is easier (and more relaxing) than ever. Advance Transit’s fare-free Green Route includes a Saturday-only stop right at the market while it’s outdoors. That means you can skip the hassle of finding parking, avoid traffic, and arrive ready to enjoy everything the market has to offer. Just hop on the bus, bring a tote bag (or two), and let us do the driving.

Once you arrive, you’ll find more than just incredible shopping. The Norwich Farmers Market is a lively gathering place filled with music, sunshine, and the buzz of neighbors catching up after a long winter.

Grab a cup of coffee, listen to local musicians, and take your time strolling through the vendor booths. Whether you’re picking up your weekly groceries or simply soaking in the atmosphere, it’s a joyful way to spend a Saturday morning.

Curious about who you’ll find this season? From longtime favorites to new faces, you can explore the full list of vendors here: http://www.norwichfarmersmarket.org/vendor-list.html

We’re proud to help connect our community to events like this—places where local food, creativity, and connection come together. So this season, consider riding with Advance Transit to the Norwich Farmers Market. It’s an easy, sustainable way to be part of something truly special.

We’ll see you at the market!
