We know that using the bus for the first time can feel a little intimidating, but don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. Advance Transit offers several tools to help you ride with confidence and ease. Let’s break them down so you can get moving like a pro in no time.

📲 2. Use Available Apps for Real-Time Navigation

There are numerous apps that will include public transit options for your travel needs. Use Google Maps or Apple Maps to navigate our public transit system.

You can also download the Transit app, which shows:

  • Real-time bus arrivals
  • Step-by-step directions
  • Route maps and schedules
  • Transfer points and frequency info

All these tools work with other transportation options too!

📱 3. Call or Text for Real-Time Bus Info

In a rush and need to know when your bus is arriving? Just call or text 802-255-8803. Enter the stop number listed on your bus stop sign, and you’ll instantly get the latest info on arrival times and route details. Fast, easy, and super helpful when you're on the go!

That way, you’ll always be one step ahead.

🗂️ 5. Pick Up a Printed Schedule

Prefer something you can hold in your hand? Grab a printed schedule on any bus or at the Advance Transit operations center. These schedules list departure times for major stops along each route.

Tip: If your stop isn’t listed, look for the departure time of the stop just before yours. That’ll give you a good idea of when the bus will get to you. It's a simple but reliable way to stay on track.
