Advance Transit receives many questions about our system and trip data. We invite planners, developers, researchers and anyone interested in the details of our system to examine this data for the purpose of analysis, visualization, development, or general curiosity.


Live Feeds

The General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) is a data specification that allows public transit agencies to publish their transit data in a format that can be consumed by a wide variety of software applications. GTFS Realtime is a feed specification that allows public transportation agencies to provide realtime updates about their fleet to application developers. AT’s GTFS and GTFS-RT feeds are regularly maintained and can be accessed using the links below.


Ridership

The interactive tool below shows ridership data for Advance Transit’s Fiscal Year 2024, which runs from July 1, 2023 until June 30, 2024. Click the arrow button at the bottom right of the tool to expand the dashboard to full screen.

National Transit Database

The FTA’s National Transit Database (NTD) is the repository of data about the financial, operating and asset conditions of American transit systems. Please note that Advance Transit is an interstate carrier that reports to the NTD through both Vermont and New Hampshire. All revenue vehicles are reported through NH.


Financial Data

Single Audits

As a recipient of federal funding in excess of $750,000, Advance Transit undergoes a single audit on an annual basis. AT’s audited financial statements can be accessed in the Federal Audit Clearinghouse using the instructions below.

  1. Go to the Federal Audit Clearinghouse.
  2. Click on the “General Information” tab and enter 222558708 into the “Auditee EIN” field.
  3. Click the “Search” button to access AT’s audited financial statements.

Form 990

As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, AT files an annual form 990. To access AT’s 990s, follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to the Tax Exempt Organization Search tool.
  2. Enter 222558708 as the search term. This is AT’s Employer Identification Number (EIN).
  3. Click “Search” and then select “Advance Transit Inc.” from the list of results.
