Heavy Duty Mechanic

Advance Transit is seeking a skilled individual who is passionate about troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving equipment performance. Work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will make a real impact, and you’ll have the opportunity to grow and advance your career.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, this role will:

  • Repair buses and other equipment, as directed
  • Order parts, when needed
  • Maintain work area
  • Respond to road calls
  • CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required

This position is classified as “safety sensitive” and as such is subject to Federal Transportation Authority (FTA) mandated drug and alcohol testing.

City Bus Driver – Paid CDL Training Provided

Advance Transit is seeking a dependable, courteous, and safety-conscious bus driver to operate vehicles, transporting passengers over specified local routes in a safe and professional manner.  

SIGNING BONUS: $1,500 signing bonus for new hires who have a CDL with passenger endorsement

OVERTIME ELIGIBLE: All CDL driver roles receive overtime pay for over 40 hours worked in one week; in addition, any hours worked on Saturdays are paid at the overtime rate.
