Advance Transit is looking for a Facility & Maintenance Service Worker to join our team and help maintain our buses, facilities, and community spaces that thousands of riders rely on every day.

This position plays a vital role in supporting the heart of public transportation—ensuring our buses, shelters, and facilities stay safe, clean, and ready to roll.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buses, shelters, and facilities
• Fuel and inspect buses, keeping detailed records
• Perform basic repairs, snow removal, lawn care, and general upkeep of AT properties
• Support the maintenance team with road calls and inspections
• Represent Advance Transit proudly while keeping our community’s transit system in top condition

Schedule & Hours

• Offers a varied schedule with no weekends and 40–45 hours per week
• Typically work 3 to 4 closing shifts each week, which means working until approximately 9:30P.M.

Qualifications

• A team player with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Someone who can stay cool under pressure and tackle hands-on work with pride
• Basic mechanical know-how and the ability to work safely and efficiently
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• CDL with Passenger Endorsement and an active DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain)
